Transform Culture

We all feel how fast things are moving. There is stuff happening we don’t see coming but then …. boom; it is on us.

It disrupts our way of doing business. And it doesn’t feel like we had time to prepare for it. And we didn’t. It is true.

Innovation is happening fast as well. Companies are growing faster that we are. In our gut we feel like this is just a fraction of what is yet to come.

It is true!

So … it is not just about the technology. We hope that it could be but it isn’t. If it was, we could just buy our way out of the hole we have dug. Buying technology is easy. Changing our mindset and culture is not.

Digital technologies won’t improve things. They won’t immunize us from the pace of innovation.

The adoption and opportunities of technologies under the umbrellas of social business, cloud, mobility, Big Data (analytics), cognitive computing (artificial intelligence) and the Internet of Things and more will always speed up changes across society.

So … what to do? Should we just give up?

Nope!

Get moving. Quit whining. Start changing.

We can learn how to do this. We can get help with what we don’t know. We may not be the fastest but we can be faster.

We really can!
