Wow. 30 years ago the internet was born.
On March 12, 1989, Tim Berners-Lee issued the first proposal for what would become the World Wide Web, when he wrote a document to CERN with details of an information-management system.
CERN is a European research organization that operates the largest particle physics laboratory in the world. Established in 1954, the organization is based in a northwest suburb of Geneva on the Franco–Swiss border and has 22 member states. Israel is the only non-European country granted full membership.
Who would have thought it would become what it is today?
Umm… That’s Happy Birthday, WWW. The internet is twice as old. I could tell you stories… 😉
