Are we ready to be persecuted at work? Jesus has a promise for us. We will be. We must be ready.

• Are we ready to be fired?
• Are we ready to have complaints filed against us with Human Resources?
• Are we ready to be sued and taken to court?
• Are we ready?

But you are thinking, hmm, no one is persecuting me at work. That is true for many Christians I know at work. This is a problem and indicative that we are not living out our faith at work. This is a warning. Please take it seriously.

• John 15:20 — 20 “Remember the word that I said to you, ‘A slave is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you; if they kept My word, they will keep yours also.
• Acts 14:22 — 22 strengthening the souls of the disciples, encouraging them to continue in the faith, and saying, “Through many tribulations we must enter the kingdom of God.”
• 2 Timothy 3:12 — 12 Indeed, all who desire to live godly in the Messiah Jesus will be persecuted.
