Thank you very much.
I am shocked at the response of the navigator.
The initial contact was extremely difficult for me as I was just diagnosed after having back surgery and was recovering at home while waiting for my follow up neurologist appointment.
I didn’t reach out again after I saw the neurologist because I just felt defeated and wasn’t in the mood for any kind of confrontation .
When I finally reached out I was NOT welcome with open arms after I requested another navigator.
Sometimes it’s just not a good fit .
I knew this was not going to be a good fit .
I was told by the manager of the navigator that either I work with her or I will have to wait .
I said I would wait.
Let’s remember that these navigators are well paid and NOT volunteers.
I actually was shocked to see the salaries for the positions at this non profit organization.
As a MS patient , the one the organizations mission and values is “whatever it takes”
we as patients deserve whatever it takes.
I would love a contract email for the CEO and upper management.

Tracey, I am so sorry to hear that. This was a guest blog by the CEO. You can contact her at the National office in Denver.

It seems we are not a good fit. I am now asking for a new navigator but am told that due to time constraints I will have to wait.
I don’t have time to wait.
My disability is progressing at a rapid rate and I deserve a phone call.
As the CEO can you please help me?
